Marathon in the NTHU

Tomo, Kevin and Tetsuya joined the marathon running around the NTHU campus.
The weather was rainy but cool temperature was good to run. We got a towel!

Taipei Zoo

Tetsuya went to Taipei Zoo.
We can see a lot of animals including bears, elephants, pandas, peafowls, gorillas, koalas, and Taiwanese endemic species there.
This is the inside of the huge birdcage. Birds do not mind getting close to humans.
My brave baby was not afraid of kicking the bear! The ticket of Taipei Zoo is not expensive. They have very wide area and many kinds of animals!

Andrew Cooper visited from Durham. He showed us a cutting-edge simulation of galaxy formation. It was impressive to see how distributions of in-situ and accreating stars are different in each halo mass. Thanks Andrew!  Please come back again!
